To celebrate our five year anniversary of being married, Kevin and I decided to purchase a wine refrigerator as a present to ourselves. We felt that a wine refrigerator would be an appropriate gift for us, since we love to drink wine at the end of the day to unwind. Additionally, a gift like that would look nice in our dining room.

We solicited the help of one of our friends to pick it up from the store. Kevin and I do not drive because we are blind. We are thankful, though, that we have awesome people to help us. We really appreciate their kindness.

We are so happy with our purchase. We are so glad that we got a gift that we love. Along with our wonderful gift, we had ourselves a candlelight dinner. Then, the two of us took a nice hot bath in our jet bathtub. After that, we sat back and watched a couple of our favorite movies. Once all of that was done, we went to bed. We truly had an outstanding anniversary.

Wow! Today was one of the best days I have ever had.  So many wonderful things happened. I met up with my mom and had lunch with her.  After that, I hung out with my dad.  I felt so good doing these things because since I had moved out, I had not spent as much time with my parents as I used to.  I do feel pretty guilty about that.

Once I was done spending time with my parents, I went home and made diner for my fiancé.  It was a candlelight dinner.  When he came home, he could not believe what he saw.  He thanked me like nobody’s business, and we enjoyed our dinner together.

Once dinner was over, my fiancé and I took out the chess sets and began playing some chess.  We played for hours, and then we got ready for bed.

The both of us agree it was a good day. We hope we have many more like these.
